(a process three times faster than driving heated rivets), it completely fills the rivet
hole. No other fastener fills a hole as completely as this BSN rivet, leaving no margin
for shear movement and possible eventual tear out. You get high tensile strength without
destroying the "work hardness" and there are no stress concentrations. Squeezing
BSN cold rivets into place also means quiet operation. Since cold-riveting dies last
longer, your die costs and equipment maintenance are reduced.
